Synerfac Technical Staffing is helping a client in Alaska find an experienced Production Manager to lead second shift manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while developing a capable production team.

You'll oversee daily production activities, mentor supervisors and hourly staff, analyze productivity and drive lean initiatives. The position requires hands-on leadership and strong collaboration with Quality,

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience in cable assembly/electronics preferred.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge (5S, CI).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Degree preferred in Engineering/Manufacturing/Business.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee second shift production operations to meet daily goals and deadlines.
• Lead, coach, and mentor supervisors and hourly employees.
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and production metrics while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure production runs smoothly and customer expectations are met.
• Address production challenges quickly by implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve output.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training, and ongoing development to build a knowledgeable and productive workforce.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, performance metrics, and operational documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented work environment while effectively handling employee concerns and operational issues.
