OTR Engineered Solutions, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to lead daily production across day and second shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a busy fabrication environment.

You will apply Lean principles, 5S, visual management, and Kaizen to improve throughput and efficiency while engaging frontline teams. You will partner with the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams—Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance—to provide the people, materials, information, and processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years’ related experience.
• Experience leading Lean initiatives and shop-floor teams.
• Strong communication across levels of management.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Owns and manages all daily production activities across both day and second shift.
• Ensures production schedules, customer commitments, and internal deadlines are achieved.
• Leads the daily execution of production priorities, balancing aftermarket and OEM needs.
• Monitors production performance, throughput, labor utilization, downtime, and schedule attainment.
• Identifies and addresses constraints, bottlenecks, and issues before impacting commitments.
• Maintains a strong presence on the shop floor and provides hands-on leadership.
• Leads daily production meetings and coordinates with the Production Planner.
• Champions Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establishes and maintains 5S standards and visual management systems.
• Drives waste reduction, flow, quality and cost reduction initiatives.
