Northland Staffing Solutions in Minneapolis is seeking experienced Production Line Leads to oversee daily operations on the second shift (2:30 PM–11 PM, Monday–Friday) with occasional overtime. The role involves supervising assembly line activities, ensuring safety, maintaining product quality, and boosting production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with assembly line operations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to machinery, tools, and general factory equipment.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and warehouse procedures.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining motivation and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the assembly line team to meet production targets efficiently and safely.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Operate and oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and forklifts as required for assembly tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance or reporting issues promptly.
• Train new team members on factory procedures, safety guidelines, and proper use of tools.
• Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports and inventory movements in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times within the manufacturing facility.
• Support inventory management by coordinating with warehouse staff for material handling and storage.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages productivity, accountability, and continuous learning.
