Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely and meet production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths/weaknesses; plan improvements.
• Coach, develop and manage performance of team members; provide feedback.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment aligned with Carvana values.
• Proactively communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals to team members.
• Monitor and resolve conflicts among team members.
• Ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Review and approve identified mechanical/physical defects of incoming inventory.
• Lead a team of production associates and coordinate with the Inspection Center GM to repair or reject inventory based on cost/quality.
• Train associates using Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
• Identify and complete repairs efficiently the first time to reduce re-work.
• Maintain safety by following procedures and PPE requirements.
• Effectively delegate tasks and manage multiple associates.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Be prepared to work overtime and variable schedules as necessary.
