Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise and develop a team at the Inspection Center, driving on-time production and quality standards. You will oversee car movements, defect reviews, and coaching to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, computer experience, and the ability to lift 60 pounds. Overtime, weekend work, and a safety-first approach are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience using computers.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Understanding of lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely, meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the team; identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to team members.
• Create a work environment that promotes communication, cohesion, and Carvana values.
• Communicate expectations and performance measures clearly to the team.
• Resolve conflicts among team members.
• Ensure adherence to systems, policies, and performance standards.
• Review and approve identified defects in incoming inventory.
• Lead a team of production associates and collaborate with the Center GM on repairs vs rejection based on cost and quality.
• Train team on Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
