Job summary

State of North Carolina's Dept of Health and Human Services, Broughton Hospital, is seeking a full‑time Pharmacy Technician (S) for the second shift to accurately process and prepare physicians' medication orders in both the hospital and outpatient clinic settings.

You will support medication distribution, maintain and troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
• High school diploma or GED with one year of pharmacy-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare physicians' medication orders in pharmacy and clinic settings.
• Support medication distribution and assist with pharmacy automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Work the second shift from 12:00 to 21:00 with rotating weekends/holidays.
