Job summary

Broughton Hospital, part of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, seeks a full-time Pharmacy Technician (S) for the second shift to accurately process and prepare physicians’ medication orders in both pharmacy and outpatient clinic settings.

You will support medication distribution, troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems, and ensure safety and quality standards under a licensed Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nine-month Pharmacy Technician program.
• High school diploma or GED with one year of pharmacy-related experience.
• Some positions may require Pharmacy Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare physicians' medication orders in pharmacy and outpatient clinic settings.
• Support medication distribution and maintain pharmacy automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
