Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician for the 2nd shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM) at Enterprise Pharmacy, Transitions of Care Services Acute Care in North Carolina. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and pharmacy tech certification (CPhT or ExCPT).

Expect 40 hours/week with every-other-weekend rotation and eligibility for benefits. Candidates should have at least 3 years of healthcare or pharmacy-related experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with

Qualifications

• Registration/licensure with state board of pharmacy as required
• Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT or ExCPT) required
• High school diploma or GED; NC preferred associate degree in Pharmacy Technology for duties with technician responsibilities
• Typically 3 years of healthcare/pharmacy experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Performs area-specific tasks per standard processes and policies
• Operates equipment and technology in the specialty area
• Solves technical issues related to the area promptly
• Maintains accurate records and timely documentation
• Communicates with patients and care team to coordinate care
• Identifies quality improvements to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Supports implementation of operational changes and standardization
