Job summary

Advocate Health’s Enterprise Pharmacy – Transitions of Care Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for the 2nd shift (2PM – 10:30 PM, every other weekend). The role requires state licensure and CPhT or ExCPT certification, with at least 3 years in healthcare or pharmacy.

Pay ranges from $24.10 to $36.15 per hour, with benefits eligibility and a 40-hour work week. The technician will support documentation accuracy, patient and care-team communication, and adherence

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• For NC technicians, an Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology required.
• Typically 3 years of healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, or medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work as outlined by standard processes, procedures and adherent to policies.
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in specialized area.
• Problem solves technical issues in the specialized area as they arise.
• Ensures documents and records are accurate and completed in a timely fashion.
• Supports methods of communication and coordination with patients and care team.
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities based on specialized skill set to ensure safe, effective, and efficient services and patient care.
• Provides input to and supports implementation of operational changes, advancements, and site and system standardization.
