Top Echelon Software, LLC's client in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Production Supervisor for the second shift in the paint operations department. You will lead one Team Leader and about 25 employees, driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and engagement in a unionized automotive manufacturing environment.

You will monitor line performance, coach and schedule labor, ensure PPE and safety compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to resolve defects

• Experience leading in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team on the floor.
• Experience in a unionized environment and line leadership.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on leadership for second-shift paint operations.
• Lead one Team Leader and ~25 employees across multiple functions.
• Allocate labor and resources to meet daily production goals.
• Monitor line performance, quality, scrap, and downtime; take corrective action.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with procedures and PPE.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to resolve defects.
• Troubleshoot automated paint line and related equipment to minimize downtime.
• Complete shift records and drive continuous improvement through Lean and 5S.
