Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Supervisor, Manufacturing Product and Packaging Operations to join the Ottava production team in Santa Clara, CA. You will lead a team of technicians, hire and train, and drive daily production plans with Lean and Six Sigma for continuous improvement.

Successful candidates will have an Associate’s degree, 2+ years of supervisory experience in medical devices, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional work experience in manufacturing.
Supervisory experience in medical devices.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
Strong personnel management skills.

Responsibilities

Drive daily production build plan for the Ottava production team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
Supervise a team of technicians; hire and train new team members and mentor existing ones.
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Document and share best practices across teams to foster innovation and operational excellence.
Track performance metrics and report progress to leadership.
