Job summary

Stryker is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead and optimize a production area in the United States. You will coordinate schedules, manage resources, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across the team.

Responsibilities include directing 25+ non-exempt associates, coaching direct reports, and delivering timely production updates. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with strong leadership and basic computer skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 8+ years manufacturing experience in lieu).
• Prior leadership experience leading hourly teams.
• Basic computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production area activities to meet production, quality, and cost objectives.
• Establish and prioritize production schedules based on product requirements and staffing needs.
• Comply with regulatory and company quality requirements.
• Stop processing and escalate non-conforming conditions.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement schedules and processes to meet goals and regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize activities based on demand, equipment utilization, material availability, and workforce capacity.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to meet performance and compliance standards.
• Prepare and communicate production updates, metrics, and reports to leadership.
• Ensure EHS policies and EHSMS requirements are understood and followed.
• Verify training for safe and effective performance.
