Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC seeks a Second Shift Manufacturing Lead for aerospace and electronics to drive product flow, uphold quality, and coordinate floor activities from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

You will monitor bottlenecks, verify attendance, enforce IPC Class 3 and ESD standards, and conduct cross-shift handoffs with day shift leadership.

Candidates should have 2–7 years electronics manufacturing experience, SMT, wiring assembly, IPC Class 3, ITAR eligibility, and ERP/MRP familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of electronics manufacturing experience (aerospace, medical, defense, or space experience preferred).
• Hands-on SMT, cable and wiring assembly, final assembly, or inspection experience.
• Working knowledge of IPC Class 3 standards and ESD protocols.
• ITAR eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Track and move product through second-shift production cells to meet schedule.
• Identify and elevate bottlenecks, material shortages, or equipment issues promptly.
• Verify team attendance and maintain shift timekeeping records; report flags to management.
• Reinforce IPC Class 3 quality requirements and ESD/6S standards on the floor.
• Conduct cross-shift handoffs with day-shift leadership to prepare incoming crews.
