Job summary

Electro-Methods is seeking a Cell Leader for the Aerospace Manufacturing Second Shift in South Windsor, CT. You will lead a team of machinists, operators, and technicians on the shop floor, ensuring safe, efficient production while meeting delivery and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing with leadership experience, strong CNC and GD&T skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in machining, aerospace manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing, precision machining, or related environment.
• 2+ years in lead/ supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC, blueprint reading, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily activities of assigned production personnel.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training to support employee development and engagement.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping, staffing levels, and work assignments to meet production schedules.
• Promote a positive, high-accountability work environment.
• Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards consistently and fairly.
• Oversee machine setups, workflow, production priorities, and resource allocation.
• Ensure production activities meet customer delivery schedules and quality expectations.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and enhance workplace safety.
