Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX, on-site for a Second Shift Front Line Leader role, is seeking a candidate to oversee daily manufacturing activities and drive throughput within a union environment.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvement collaboration, and metrics-based performance across multiple functional areas. A strong leadership presence and data-driven approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing or military experience is required.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organization skills.
• Goal-oriented and data driven with a strong sense of urgency.
• Capable of leveraging modern business systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign, manage and direct daily manufacturing activities for up to 25 union employees to maximize throughput and profitability.
• Identify process improvement opportunities with Process Engineering and Quality to reduce defects.
• Direct CNC manufacturing activities with safety and efficiency in mind.
• Disciplining employees when necessary per policy.
• Manage per local Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Provide metrics-driven accountability for performance (earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, overtime).
• Collaborate across functions (Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality).
