Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Front-Line Leader for the 2nd shift to oversee up to 25 union‑covered employees at the Rotors Service Center. You will drive safety, quality and throughput while directing daily manufacturing activities in a structured environment.

This onsite role requires leadership experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with SAP and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Expect performance metrics, shift-based duties, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years manufacturing environment experience.
• At least 3 years in a professional leadership role preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications, data driven with urgency.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work multiple shifts; proficient with MS Office.
• Knowledge of SAP, Lean, Six Sigma desirable; GD&T preferred.
• Machining experience is a plus; entrepreneurial team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
• Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary.
• Manage according to local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Utilize metrics driven accountability: TAKT, hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, overtime.
• Work with multiple functions to achieve objectives in a matrix environment.
• Develop, support, and implement process improvements.
• Evaluate business impact using metrics and delivery schedules.
