Job summary

Bell is seeking a Front Line Leader for the Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, TX, on 2nd shift (1:30PM-12:00AM). This onsite role entails supervising up to 25 unionized employees, directing CNC activities, and partnering with engineering and quality to improve processes while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The position requires 5 years of manufacturing or military experience, strong leadership, and data-driven decision making, with weekend OT on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of manufacturing or military experience.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign, manage and direct daily manufacturing activities of up to 25 union-covered employees.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering and Quality to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
• Direct CNC manufacturing activities focusing on safety and operational efficiency.
• Discipline employees when necessary.
• Operate under the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Provide metrics-driven accountability for earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead and overtime.
• Work across functions (Supply Chain, Process Engineering, CI, Quality).
