Job summary

EPSI is seeking a dedicated Custodian in Eagle Pass, TX to maintain clean, safe facilities and support daily operations. This full-time role involves routine cleaning, restrooms, floors, and general upkeep in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have custodial experience, follow safety procedures, and demonstrate reliability and strong attention to detail. Weekend shifts may be required based on operations.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to safely operate basic custodial equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
• Attendance is a requirement to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and other common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Support special cleaning projects or deep cleaning activities as assigned.
• Assist with floor care duties as needed based on operational needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
