Job summary

EPSI is seeking a dedicated Custodian in Eagle Pass, TX, to maintain clean, safe facilities and support operational needs on a second-shift schedule. This full-time role requires attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restroom disinfection, trash disposal, supply replenishment, and reporting safety issues to supervision. Prior custodial experience and ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to safely operate basic custodial equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
• Attendance is a requirement to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and other common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Support special cleaning projects or deep cleaning activities as assigned.
• Assist with floor care duties as needed based on operational needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
