The Wonderful Citrus plant in Delano, CA is seeking a second-shift equipment operator to ensure safe setup, operation, and calibration of packaging-line equipment. You will document observations, monitor fruit quality, and hand off clean, ready-to-work areas between shifts.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency (bilingual in Spanish helpful), basic computer skills, and strong focus on accuracy, teamwork, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be precise and detail oriented.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical issues on simple equipment.
• Able to read and write in English; Spanish helpful.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Excel/Word).
• Works well in a team and communicates clearly.
• Good problem-solving abilities and math basics.

Responsabilités

• Setup and safe operation of the equipment.
• Perform pre-start checks, general repairs, preventive maintenance and calibrations.
• Maintain daily operator log book documenting observations and adjustments.
• Monitor fruit samples for quality, size and grade; adjust as needed.
• Keep equipment and area clean and in good condition.
• Provide training on equipment and hand off to next shift.
• Support safety, quality, efficiency, cost and productivity goals.
