Wonderful Citrus in Delano, CA, part of The Wonderful Company, seeks a maintenance technician to oversee the operation, repairs, welfare, and general upkeep of fruit sorting equipment. You will set up and run the equipment, perform preventive maintenance, calibrate units, and ensure proper grading and documentation.

Responsibilities include trouble-shooting, maintaining equipment, collecting fruit samples, and upholding safety standards.

Qualificações

• Intermediate computer skills; experience with Microsoft Windows (Excel and Word).
• Ability to perform light electro-mechanical troubleshooting and parts replacement.
• Speak, read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Intermediate mathematical skills; understand ratios, minimums/maximums and percentages.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate electronic fruit sorting equipment.
• Perform general equipment repairs, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Fill-out downtime documentation efficiently.
• Maintain grading standards through automated equipment and adjust as needed.
• Collect and evaluate fruit samples.
• Calibrate units regularly to ensure proper performance.
• Keep all electronic and hardware in clean, good operating condition.
• Load equipment with film and mesh; lift materials multiple times per shift.
• Follow safety standards including fall protection when climbing above ground.
