Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for its Wonderful Citrus facility in Delano, CA. This entry-level role performs preventative and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment, learns to troubleshoot multiple systems, and supports the maintenance team in day-to-day operations.

You will work on Baggers, Printers, CSMA, Weighers, and Box Formers, document work in CMMS, and assist with repairs and jam clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree with 3+ years in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret manuals and regulations; follow safety procedures.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Operate Baggers, Printers, CSMA, Weighers, and Box Formers.
• Create CMMS work requests and document work performed.
• Escalate issues to lead or supervisor as needed.
• Assist Packaging Specialist with repairs to equipment.
• Clear Bin Jams and perform minor rebuilds of rollers.
