Job summary

Wonderful Citrus LLC in Delano, CA is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Mechanic to join our packaging and processing operations. You’ll perform preventative and corrective maintenance on baggers, printers, CSMS, weighers, and box formers, learn electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and assist senior technicians to keep lines running safely.

Applicants should be able to stand long shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, wear PPE, and read technical manuals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; technical degree and 3+ years in production preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and technical documents.
• Ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work standing for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment (baggers, printers, CSMA, weighers, box formers).
• Learn to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on listed equipment.
• Collaborate with operators to maximize equipment efficiency and uptime.
• Assist in training operators and team members on maintenance procedures.
• Create work orders and document tasks in CMMS.
• Escalate issues to leads or supervisors as needed.
