Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Mechanic for its Wonderful Citrus operations in Delano, CA. You will learn to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment, including baggers, printers, CSMA, weighers, and box formers, while supporting the maintenance team.

You will operate safely under LO TO rules, assist with repairs, and help train other operators. This role requires readiness for hands-on learning, willingness to work with heavy equipment,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; technical degree and 3+ years or training preferred.
• Ability to work with fractions, percentages, ratios in practical situations.
• Stand and/or walk for up to 12 hour shift.
• Drive vehicles.
• Climb to heights, balance, work above shoulders.
• Bend/stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat frequently.
• Use both hands for grasping and manipulation.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• Work with PPE (steel-toe shoes, gloves, glasses, etc.).
• Read, analyze and interpret technical docs; write reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair and maintain Baggers, Printers, CSMA, Weighers, and Box Formers.
• Collaborate with Operators to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Create work orders in CMMS and document work performed.
• Assist in training other team members.
