Job summary

Burton Center for Disabilities and Special Needs is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in a full-time, second-shift role. The DSP will provide person-centered support, coaching, and hands-on assistance to adults with disabilities in a Community Training Home, promoting independence and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have valid SC driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Willing to participate in mandatory orientation and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and training to up to 4 adults with disabilities in a Community Training Home.
• Assist with daily living tasks including hygiene, meals, mobility, and medication administration.
• Document progress using Therap and participate in ongoing in‑person and on‑the‑job training.
