Job summary

Burton Center For Disabilities & Special Needs is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full‑time, third‑shift position with 40 hours per week. Hours are weekdays 11:45pm–7:45am and rotating weekends 7:45pm–7:45am in our Residential Program ICF.

You will provide person‑centered support to up to 8 adults with disabilities, assist with daily living activities, medication administration, meals, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or ability to pass aptitude test.
• SC Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Adaptable, a team player, and advocate for others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person‑centered support to promote independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assist with medication administration as trained.
• Prepare light meals per designated meal plan.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Document progress in Therap and report changes.
