Pratt & Whitney in North Berwick, ME seeks a 2nd shift machinist to operate NC milling machines and VTLs. You will train 4–6 months on 1st shift before moving to the assigned schedule, with no relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• High School or GED with 1+ years related experience or a post-secondary/vocational certificate.
• Able to interpret instructions and set up basic machining operations.
• U.S. citizenship may be required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate NC milling machines and VTLs to produce weldments.
• Read operation sheets and travelers; verify finished parts with precision tools.
• Maintain equipment and assist in process development with engineers and QA.
• Support TPM and contribute to department objectives as needed.
