Job summary

DG3 is seeking an experienced Bindery Supervisor to lead second shift offset bindery operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on offset finishing experience and a background handling financial print work such as statements, proxies, and prospectuses.

You will direct second shift bindery activities, manage cutting, folding, saddle-stitching, perfect binding, die cutting, and related processes, while ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of bindery production and equipment.
• Hands-on ability to operate and troubleshoot offset finishing equipment.
• Experience in commercial print; financial print accuracy preferred.
• Familiarity with print MIS systems (EFI Monarch a plus).
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs second shift bindery activities to meet quality, quantity, and delivery targets.
• Supervises cutting, folding, saddle-stitching, perfect binding, and die cutting.
• Ensures accuracy and chain of custody on financial print work.
• Allocates work, assigns staffing, and advises the Director, Bindery.
• Coordinates with press, prepress, stock, shipping, and customer service to meet deadlines.
• Monitors Monarch or other MIS for job progress and resolves issues.
