Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking Production Supervisors for a full-time, on-site role in a bakery operation. The position leads a team of 15–25 employees across multiple shifts and drives safe, high-quality production while meeting goals.

You will oversee daily activities, coach staff, ensure food safety, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues. Growth opportunities exist within an established supervisory group.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in food manufacturing, bakery or frozen foods is preferred.
• Ability to lead employees, manage performance and drive accountability.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
