Job summary
US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Automation Engineering Support Technician on the 2nd shift (2pm – 10pm) to maintain and improve automated manufacturing equipment used in precision fiber optic connectivity production.
You will work with Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Quality to maximize equipment performance and efficiency. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting automated assembly equipment in a production environment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Install, start up, maintain and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose root causes and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability.
- Assist Automation Engineers with trials and process improvements.
- Support Lean initiatives and optimize OEE across lines.
