We’re hiring a hands-on Automation Engineering Technician on 2nd shift to support design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems in production. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to work across PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and related equipment,

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with automated equipment, robotics, and control systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial software.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, installation, and maintenance of automated manufacturing systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics).
• Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting for optimal performance and safety.
• Support engineers and cross-functional teams in implementing automation solutions.
• Monitor processes and support efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain system documentation and provide operator training on automated equipment.
• Assist with repair of equipment and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
• Inspect processes to verify dimensional and performance specifications.
• Stay informed on new tools and best practices to improve reliability and performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
