Job summary
US Conec, Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineering Support Technician for 3rd shift (10pm–6am) to maintain and improve automated manufacturing equipment used in fiber optic connectivity production.
You will work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to keep systems safe, reliable, and efficient. You will install, troubleshoot, and service robotics, PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, vision equipment, and conveyors, while supporting lean and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize OEE and
Qualifications
- Two+ years supporting automated assembly equipment in production.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with robotics, PLCs, HMIs, servo motion systems, sensors, and machine vision.
Responsibilities
- Install, startup, maintain, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose root causes and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability.
- Support automation engineers with equipment performance and process improvements.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve manufacturing issues and support new product introductions.
