Kids for the Future in North Syracuse, NY seeks a 2nd Shift Auto Supervisor to lead second-shift production, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. This full-time, non-exempt role supervises staff, coordinates workflow, and drives continuous improvement.

You will train and develop team members, manage shift handoffs with other shifts, and monitor performance while meeting daily production targets. Must have 2+ years supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of automotive production processes, manufacturing safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer and production tracking skills; attention to detail; ability to work second shift and overtime as required.

Responsabilités

• Lead second-shift production from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and ensure daily priorities are executed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and workflow to meet production targets.
• Monitor production output and equipment performance; address issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure employees follow company safety, quality, and operating standards.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while reinforcing performance expectations and accountability.
• Conduct shift meetings to communicate priorities, goals, procedures, safety information, and updates.
• Address attendance, performance, personnel, and production concerns promptly and professionally.
• Track production output, attendance, shift performance, and required documentation accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with first- and third-shift supervisors to ensure clear handoffs and consistent operations.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve safety, quality, and efficiency; perform other duties as assigned.
