Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Irving, TX, is seeking an Assembly Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri 5:00pm to 1:30am). You will lead operations on the plant floor, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while building a positive, engaged team.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, training on processes, certifying workstations, monitoring production boards, and investigating root causes of injuries or defects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Automotive manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage processes with detailed accuracy and discipline.
• Coach and assist employees with problem solving and personal issues.
• Train team members on processes, procedures and tasks.
• Certify team members on workstations to progress on the skills matrix.
• Ensure quality standards are met and on-time delivery per customer demands.
• Direct daily tasks of team leaders, material handlers, operators and support groups.
• Conduct toolbox talks daily and adhere to production identification, traceability and inventory controls.
