IMI plc in Machesney Park, IL seeks an Assembly Supervisor to lead day-to-day assembly operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will plan staffing, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement with Lean tools.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of manufacturing supervision, strong problem-solving, and the ability to coach and develop employees in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role offers health, safety, and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience with supervisory or people leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in an assembly or production manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise daily assembly operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and customer requirements.
• Plan staffing and allocate employees across assembly areas based on production priorities, available resources, skills, and workload.
• Monitor production schedules and respond quickly to labor shortages, material issues, equipment concerns, quality issues, or other production constraints.
• Provide clear direction and expectations to employees at the start of and throughout each shift.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and regularly communicate with employees regarding production priorities, safety, quality, and performance.
• Coach, develop, and support employees while reinforcing accountability and consistent performance expectations.
• Promote good housekeeping and workplace organization, including 5S standards.
• Lead by example and promote a strong Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) culture.
