The role directs daily manufacturing activities, schedules work, and manages team performance in a low-volume/high-mix environment, with Lean principles guiding improvements. Mon-Fri 1st shift, 7:00 AM start; pay is $30/hour with opportunities to develop training programs for new staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business and/or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• Strong supervisory experience in an engineered-product, low-volume/high‑mix manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on mechanical interest or experience.
• Demonstrated Lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage assembly-area manufacturing activities to meet plant objectives.
• Oversee production to meet quality, functionality and lead time specs.
• Schedule daily work activities and maintain accurate production plans.
• Set performance expectations and accountability for direct reports.
• Monitor productivity, labor efficiency and quality metrics.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements.
