IMI plc, a global engineering company, is seeking an Assembly Supervisor for our Irwin area operation. You will lead an fast-paced assembly team, optimize schedules, and drive lean improvement to meet monthly targets.

The role requires an associate degree and at least five years in production, with preferred experience supervising an assembly department. We offer a strong benefits package and competitive pay.

Formación

• Minimum associates degree.
• 5+ years in a production environment.
• Assembly department supervisor experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the day-to-day activities of a fast-paced assembly operation.
• Adjust workforce schedules to achieve delivery goals.
• Audit production performance and utilization; provide feedback to employees.
• Assess daily attendance and move personnel to meet scheduling requirements.
• Crosstrain the workforce to manage production fluctuations.
• Monitor and scrap/re-work; develop corrective actions.
• Perform lean problem-solving using 5 Whys, 3C’s, Fishbone.
• Create new part routings and update current routers for efficiency.
• Create maintenance work orders and purchase requisitions.
• Deliver monthly shipment targets.
