Job summary

American Products is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead the Mod Assembly team and ensure safety, quality, productivity on the production floor. You will coach and develop employees, manage attendance and scheduling, monitor daily output, and drive lean improvements while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and employee development skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members in a safe and productive work environment.
• Ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, and cross-training opportunities.
• Monitor workflow and address resource needs, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper labor reporting.
• Manage attendance, scheduling, timecards, and employee performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste using lean manufacturing principles.
