Job summary

Cambro is seeking an Area Lead for the Second Shift in Huntington Beach, CA to supervise the injection molding line and packaging operations. You will direct teams, monitor safety and quality, and drive production to meet daily schedules.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks, tracking variances, giving feedback on performance, and ensuring PPE and safety compliance across the line. Experience with Prism/Intermec/AS400 is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Prism ERP, Intermec, and/or AS400.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to communicate in English.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures; basic math and charting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned group and assign work to meet planned quantities.
• Follow up on plan variances during and after the shift.
• Provide feedback to employees on status of action plans; build teams.
• Review previous day’s results with injection personnel; set goals for the day.
• Coordinate with forklift, warehouse, and material handlers for timely supplies.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed; PPE worn and incidents reported.
