Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing Company is seeking an Area Lead on the Second Shift to monitor, direct, and improve safety, quality, and productivity on the packaging line and related operations. You will lead injection molding, secondary equipment, and packaging processes, review daily schedules, and plan to meet deadlines while maintaining Cambro standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience.
Familiar with Prism, Intermec, and AS400 ERP systems.
Strong written and spoken English; able to read safety and procedure documents.

Responsibilities

Lead an assigned group of employees and assign work clearly.
Resolve plan variances and provide feedback to employees.
Review previous day’s results and set current day goals and priorities.
Coordinate with forklift, warehouse, and material handlers for timely supplies.
Prepare labels and print instruction sheets for scheduled orders.
Ensure safety regulations are followed and report violations.
Monitor quality and productivity; verify equipment status and perform daily production tracking.
Train injection personnel per guidelines.
Maintain attendance and reliability to meet department needs.
Follow safety procedures and Cambro core values.
