Job summary

Responsibilities include reading assembly schedules, labeling, inspecting at each step, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Overtime may be required; teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or up to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be a good team player, self-motivated and open-minded.
• Must be able to work any shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assembles materials and products manually, operates auxiliary equipment and performs quality functions to ensure product meets quality criteria.
• Reads and follows assembly schedule, writes tickets and makes labels, W.I.P., or products accurately; verifies box and UPC label accuracy.
• Inspects product at each step of secondary/packaging process for defects and performs necessary post-molding operations and rework.
• Maintains clean, organized workstation; follows safety procedures and wears PPE; reports issues to supervisor promptly.
