Job summary

Social Influence LLC seeks an experienced Second Pressman to operate Komori sheetfed presses in a high-quality commercial printing environment in East Longmeadow, MA. You will work a 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

shift, supporting makeready, setup, production runs, and quality checks under the Lead Pressman. Applicants should have background with sheetfed presses and a strong mechanical aptitude, with the role offering competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or assisting on Komori sheetfed presses preferred.
• Understanding of makeready, plates, blankets, ink, paper, registration and color control.
• Ability to read job tickets, measurements, proofs and production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Komori sheetfed presses under Lead Pressman guidance.
• Assist makeready: paper loading, plate hanging, blankets installation, ink filling, coating prep.
• Maintain color, registration and print quality during runs.
• Monitor press units, feeders, coating, and delivery areas.
• Follow job tickets and customer requirements; ensure quality standards.
