Responsibilities include preparing plates and inks, monitoring press performance, and performing routine maintenance. Strong attention to detail and ability to read job tickets are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Experience with Komori 40-inch offset presses preferred.
• Ability to read job tickets and follow production instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.

• Assist the Lead Pressman in the setup, operation, and maintenance of a Komori or similar 40” offset press.
• Prepare plates, inks, paper, and other materials for press runs.
• Monitor press performance and help maintain color consistency and print quality.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on press equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow production schedules and help meet daily production goals.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and communicate problems to the Lead Pressman or supervisor.

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Austin - Austin, TX 78744, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Mid Shift, We are seeking a dependable and motivated Second Pressman to assist in operating a Komori 40-inch offset printing press or similar large-format offset equipment. The Second Pressman supports the Lead Pressman in maintaining press efficiency, print quality, and meeting production deadlines. This role is essential to ensuring smooth press operation and high-quality printed products

Key Responsibilities
