Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Manager in the United States (Philadelphia area). You will lead preparation of the company’s SEC filings and financial disclosures, coordinating with the legal team on proxy statements and miscellaneous filings.

You will manage the SEC calendar, support quarterly earnings releases, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate disclosures while staying current on evolving SEC requirements and US GAAP guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA highly preferred and public accounting experience is a must.
• 7+ years of experience with SEC regulations (10-K/10-Q, S1, S4, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules; ability to research complex issues.
• International accounting experience is a plus; detail-oriented with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) with notes and disclosures.
• Create and maintain SEC calendar to meet deadlines for filings and reports.
• Coordinate interim reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
• Support quarterly earnings release process and proxy statements as needed.
• Stay current on new accounting and SEC requirements; develop policies and procedures.
• Perform management reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

Position Overview: As an SEC Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the preparation of a company’s SEC filings, including the 10-Qs and 10-K and coordination with the company’s legal team with respect to the Proxy Statement miscellaneous filings, prepare financial statements, footnotes disclosures and reporting issues.

Description:

• Prepare the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-K and 10-Q as well as other SEC filings as needed, including financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures.
• Create and maintain SEC calendar to inform parties of necessary deadline adherence for the following processes
• Coordinate interim reviews and annual audits.
• Provide support for quarterly earnings release process and the annual Proxy statement filing as needed.
• Stay current on all pending/new accounting and SEC requirements. Participate in the implementation, development, and maintenance of policies and procedures, as needed.
• Perform management reporting and ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA highly preferred and Public Accounting experience is a must
• 7 + years of experience serving large company with SEC regulations (10K, 10Q, S1, S4, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations is required combined with the ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues
• International accounting a plus, along with issue recognition experience
• Detail-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to individuals at all levels, including executive leadership.
