Juma is seeking a Regional Program Director, Washington, to lead YouthConnect programming in the Seattle market. This working leadership role shapes regional strategy while coaching site teams to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed youth workforce programs.

The role requires 7+ years in workforce development or nonprofit leadership, strong program design experience, and a proven network in Seattle’s youth and employer ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of increasing responsibility in workforce development, youth services, or nonprofit program leadership.
  • Demonstrated program design experience: building, evaluating, or meaningfully improving a youth workforce development program.
  • Experience partnering effectively with peer leaders in a matrixed or cross-functional environment, without formal authority over them.
  • Strong existing network in the Seattle youth-serving and employer ecosystem.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Apricot, Salesforce, or similar CRM/database systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail.
  • Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, motivated, and able to take initiative in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead YouthSourcing, Recruitment & Admissions across Seattle sites and establish partnerships with schools, foster care agencies, and community organizations.
  • Formalize MOUs and partnerships to maintain a robust network for resources, basic needs, and job opportunities.
  • Set regional intake standards and pace recruitment in partnership with California to ensure consistency across sites.
  • Coach site teams and ensure training consistency, including program design and delivery across sites.
  • Secure job pipelines by building a network of employers, unions, and trade schools.
  • Track placements and 6–12 month retention data across sites and report progress.
  • Monitor labor market trends in Washington and translate into program adjustments.
  • Ensure data integrity in Apricot/CRM and coordinate compliance reporting for contracts.
