Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is hiring for a Project Engineer in Seattle to support the project team while learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies. The role includes field and office operations on a construction site for a six-month minimum, ideally for the project duration.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a construction-related field and the ability to interpret drawings, purchase orders and cost-coding systems. Salary ranges from $73,800 to $92,300 per year.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and read architectural/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Help generate RFIs and track approvals.
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and coordination.
• Learn project dimensional control and verify dimensions on site.
• Assist in coordinating Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Gain understanding of site logistics.
• Participate in city/jurisdiction permit inspections.
• Update office and jobsite plans with RFIs and ASIs.
• Record Punchlist items and monitor completion.
• Assist in preparing and updating the project schedule.
