Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is offering a learning-focused role on a construction site, designed to educate and expose a candidate to field and office operations. The position runs from a project start and extends for at least six months, with potential continuation on the project.

You will work with the project team to learn procedures, generate RFIs, track approvals, and gain firsthand experience in safety, scheduling, and site logistics while observing Ryan’s policies and practices.

Qualifications

• Verification of employment to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field required.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, understand architectural and engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Help generate RFIs and track approvals.
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and coordination.
• Learn project dimensional control and verify dimensions for shop drawing approvals.
• Assist in coordinating and tracking vendor and subcontractor deliveries.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Understand overall site logistics.
• Participate in city and jurisdictional permit inspection process.
• Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.
• Accompany Ryan personnel and Owner on Punchlist inspections and record items.
• Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule.
