Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking Freight Handlers at our Seattle, WA service center to keep freight moving safely, accurately, and on time in a fast‑paced environment. You will load, unload, and secure shipments, operate forklifts and related equipment, and maintain a clean, safe dock area to support a high‑throughput operation.

In this role you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to a culture of accountability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Forklift driver qualification required.
• Hazardous Material Training preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Execute high‑precision freight handling including load, unload, stack, and secure freight.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain dock flow and keep work areas clean and hazard‑free.
• Support cross‑functional coordination with operations leadership and dock supervisors.
• Uphold safety, accuracy, and performance standards while managing multiple tasks.
