Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc is hiring a Freight Handler in Chicago, IL. You will load, unload, and secure freight with precision to keep our dock flowing safely and on time.

You’ll operate forklifts and pallet jacks, follow safety rules, and support cross-functional teams to maintain a high-performance, accident-free environment at the service center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stack, and secure freight with accuracy to prevent damage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other equipment to move freight.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock environment to support continuous flow.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to surface issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
