The ideal candidate will defend employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, and advise on workplace policies and compliance. Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills are essential for effective client counsel.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Washington State Bar.
• 4+ years of relevant litigation experience, preferably representing employers in labor and employment matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and case-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters through multiple stages of a case.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and other filings.
• Prepare responses in administrative agency proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written advocacy.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to evaluate risk and develop practical solutions.
